Description: In 2010, Toei Animation announced that it had developed a pilot for a computer-graphics remake of the earlier manga-inspired TV series, and presented it at Tokyo International Anime Fair that year. In the next year, was presented a preview of Space Pirate Captain Harlock at Annecy International Animated Film Festival. 

Plot: In the future, mankind has discovered a way to travel faster than light and has built colonies on thousands of planets. With humanity fading and the resources of the universe starting to dwindle, some five hundred billion humans began the long journey back home, Earth. However, humanity has outgrown its capacity to repatriate that many people and thus began the "Homecoming War," where the many factions of humanity battled for a stake on Earth. 

The war was long and bloody, things wouldn't subside until an authoritarian universal government by the name of the Gaia Sanction declares Earth a sacred planet, and thus forbidden for humanity to repopulate.

Description: Psycho-Pass is a Japanese anime television series that was produced by Production I.G, directed by Naoyoshi Shiotani and written by Gen Urobuchi. The series was aired on Fuji TV's Noitamina programming block between October 2012 and March 2013. The story takes place in an authoritarian future dystopia, where omnipresent public sensors continuously scan the Psycho-Pass of every citizen in range. The sensors measure mental state, personality, and the probability that the citizen will commit crimes, alerting authorities when someone exceeds accepted norms. To enforce order, the officers of the Public Safety Bureau carry hand weapons called Dominators. The story follows Akane Tsunemori, Shinya Kogami, and other members of Unit One of the Public Safety Bureau's Criminal Investigation Division, and the crimes they investigate using Dominators.

Plot: Psycho-Pass is set in 2113. The Sibyl System is actively measuring the populace's mental states, personalities, and the probability that individuals will commit crimes, using a "cymatic scan" of the brain. The resulting assessment is called a Psycho-Pass. When the probability of a person engaging in crimes measured by the Crime Coefficient index exceeds a certain level in an individual, he or she is pursued, apprehended, and killed if necessary.

The Animatrix

Description: The Animatrix is a 2003 American-Japanese best-selling direct-to-video anthology film based on The Matrix trilogy produced by The Wachowskis, who wrote and directed the trilogy. The film is a compilation of nine animated short films, including four written by the Wachowskis. It details the backstory of the Matrix universe, including the original war between man and machines which led to the creation of the Matrix.

Plot: The plot-summaries of the shorts are listed below in the order that they run in the DVD release, which is not the chronological order. Chronologically, the order would be:

"The Second Renaissance" - an electronic library entry which appears to serve a world after the Matrix movie timeline. It describes history generations before the original film, The Matrix, relating how humans built artificially intelligent Machines, the apocalyptic war between the two, ending with the Machines enslaving the human race and the initial creation of The Matrix virtual reality.

"A Detective Story" - a stand-alone story in which the character Trinity appears, but independently of any other characters. Because Trinity is present it takes place at least within several years of the films, and though it is not made clear within the anime if it takes place before or after Trinity met Neo in the original film, another official source places it before the events of The Matrix.

"Kid's Story" - set during the six-month gap between the events of the first and second films, after Neo joins the crew of the Nebuchadnezzar in freeing other humans from the Matrix. Its events are briefly alluded to in dialogue at the beginning of The Matrix Reloaded.

"Final Flight of the Osiris" - takes place directly before The Matrix Reloaded, as the hovercraft Osiris stumbles upon the Sentinel army digging to Zion. At the beginning of The Matrix Reloaded, Niobe mentions that their reconnaissance photos of the Machine army were transmitted from the Osiris.

These ships, collectively called 'The Fleet of Fog', impose a worldwide naval and aerial blockade, preventing humanity from both traveling the oceans and to other nations. During the blockade, the Fleet of Fog created Mental Models, humanoid avatars containing a ship's Union core, as a means to develop self cultivation and overcome their lack of creative thinking of tactics like humans, which at the same time made the Mental Models develop their own unique personality.

Description: Resurrection 'F' is the second film personally supervised by series creator Akira Toriyama, following Battle of Gods in 2013. The movie depicts the return of the villain Freeza, as well as the God of Destruction Beerus and Whis from Battle of Gods. Funimation announced that their English language dub of the film will receive a limited release in North American theaters on August 4 and will run through August 12, 2015. Madman Entertainment will release the film in Australian theaters in winter 2015.

Plot: With their power dwindling due to the absence of their leader, the remnants of Freeza's army are led by an alien named Sorbet, who decides to revive their master. He then sets off to Earth with one other minion, Tagoma, where they convince Pilaf, Mai, and Shu, who have collected the Dragon Balls to let them summon Shenlong instead. As Shenlong is unable to fully revive Freeza, he brings him back to life in pieces, and his minions put him together using their advanced technology. Once restored, Freeza kills Tagoma and learns that Son Goku got much stronger, to the point of defeating Majin Boo and thus, he decides he too needs to become more powerful. 

Freeza reveals that, since his power was inborn, he had never trained a day in his life, and so he trains himself for the first time, before returning to Earth with his army six months later. Jaco the Galactic Patrolman travels to earth to warn Bulma that Freeza is approaching, and she gathers the other warriors to fight him. With Goku and Vegeta training on Planet Beerus with Whis, unaware that Freeza has been revived, Son Gohan, Piccolo, Kuririn, Master Roshi, Tenshinhan and Jaco fight off Freeza's soldiers.. Description: Boruto is the eleventh Naruto film and was first announced at the ending of The Last: Naruto the Movie. The movie is set to be released in Japanese theatres on August 7, 2015, and in other countries with English subtitles, later in 2015, with the USA on October 10. Masashi Kishimoto is conceiving the story about the next generation, tying into the Naruto Project.

Sypnosis: With Naruto Uzumaki as the Seventh Hokage, Konohagakure plans to host the Chūnin Exams to train new shinobi from all of the five allied villages. Among the entrants are Team Konohamaru: Sasuke Uchiha's daughter, Sarada Uchiha, who adores Naruto; Mitsuki, an exceptionally talented yet mysterious shinobi; and Boruto Uzumaki, Naruto's son who shows great potential but despises and resents his father for not having the time to spend with his family because of his work.

Meanwhile, Sasuke, who has been on a mission in another dimension, appears before Naruto to warn of a strange impending danger he has sensed. Naruto and Sasuke talk about shinobi of their mutual childhood's era. As they do, Boruto hears from Sarada that Sasuke is Naruto's "one and only rival". Wanting to discover his father's weak spot and surpass him, Boruto meets Sasuke and begs him to train him and take him on as an apprentice. Sasuke, who realises his friend's situation, promises to be Boruto's teacher "on one condition". Boruto decides to apply for the Chūnin Selection Exams alongside Sarada and Mitsuki to show his real abilities to Naruto.
