Lupin III

Description: Lupin III is a 2014 Japanese action film directed by Ryuhei Kitamura and based on the iconic manga of the same name by Monkey Punch. The film focuses on how the series' main characters met for the first time and will reportedly update the franchise to a contemporary setting. It was premiered in Japan on August 30, 2014, and made its international premiere at LA Eigafest 2014.

Plot: Arsène Lupin III, grandson of the legendary gentleman thief Arsène Lupin, is a member of the Hong Kong-based thieving ring known as The Works, which specializes in stealing valuable objects from wealthy owners. Lupin beats his fellow Works members Fujiko Mine (his would-be lover), Pierre (a computer genius) and Jiro to the theft of a valuable medal in Singapore, but is forced to surrender it to his rival, Michael Lee, when he threatens to kill him and Fujiko...

Kaiji 2

Plot: Kaiji (Tatsuya Fujiwara) erased all of his debts by successfully navigating through death-defying games one after the other. A year later though, he's back in the same debt ridden situation. Kaiji then gets a chance to clear himself of his 200 mllion Yen debt, but he has only 2 weeks.

Kaji then decides to take on the mother of all pachinko machines named "The Swamp". The top winning payout is over 1 billion Yen. "The Swamp" is controlled by an illegal casino operation named Teai. Meanwhile, Seiya Ichizo (Yusuke Iseya), controls the machine from a remote location to ensure the machine never pays out the jackpot.

Kaiji recruits the help of Yumi Ishida (Yuriko Yoshitaka) whose father was killed by Teai, Kotaro Sakazaki (Katsuhisa Namase) a fired employee of Teai and Yukio Tonegawa (Teruyuki Kagawa) who lost his position at the hands of Teai. Psycho-Pass

Description: Psycho-Pass is a Japanese anime television series that was produced by Production I.G, directed by Naoyoshi Shiotani and written by Gen Urobuchi. The series was aired on Fuji TV's Noitamina programming block between October 2012 and March 2013. The story takes place in an authoritarian future dystopia, where omnipresent public sensors continuously scan the Psycho-Pass of every citizen in range. The sensors measure mental state, personality, and the probability that the citizen will commit crimes, alerting authorities when someone exceeds accepted norms. To enforce order, the officers of the Public Safety Bureau carry hand weapons called Dominators. The story follows Akane Tsunemori, Shinya Kogami, and other members of Unit One of the Public Safety Bureau's Criminal Investigation Division, and the crimes they investigate using Dominators.

Plot: Psycho-Pass is set in 2113. The Sibyl System is actively measuring the populace's mental states, personalities, and the probability that individuals will commit crimes, using a "cymatic scan" of the brain. The resulting assessment is called a Psycho-Pass. When the probability of a person engaging in crimes measured by the Crime Coefficient index exceeds a certain level in an individual, he or she is pursued, apprehended, and killed if necessary.

Kaiji: The Ultimate Gambler

Description: also known as Ultimate Survivor Kaiji, is a Japanese manga series about the art of gambling, written by Nobuyuki Fukumoto. It is published by Kodansha in Young Magazine.

Plot: Kaiji Ito moves to Japan after graduating from high school. Unable to find a job and frustrated with society at large, Kaiji spends his days gambling, vandalizing cars, and drinking booze.

Two years later and his life no better, a debt collector named Endo arrives to collect money. The debt collector then offers two choices to Kaiji: spend 10 year paying off your loan or board a gambling boat for one night to repay your debt & possibly make a whole lot more. Meanwhile, the unscrupulous Endo is actually conning Kaiji, believing he won't come back from voyage. Kaiji is then up for the night of his life.

Arpeggio of Blue Steel

Description: Arpeggio of Blue Steel is a Japanese manga series produced by Ark Performance and serialized in Shōnen Gahosha's Young King Ours. Nine manga volumes have been released and an anime series by Studio Sanzigen aired from October 7, 2013 to December 23, 2013. The same studio is also producing two films based on the series. The first film was released on January 31, 2015 while the second film will be released on October 3, 2015.

Plot: Due to global warming and rising sea levels in the early 21st century, much of Earth's landmass has been lost. In 2039, fleets of powerful sentient warships, armed with advanced technology and weaponry, mysteriously appear and devastate the world's naval forces. These ships, collectively called 'The Fleet of Fog', impose a worldwide naval and aerial blockade, preventing humanity from both traveling the oceans and to other nations. During the blockade, the Fleet of Fog created Mental Models, humanoid avatars containing a ship's Union core, as a means to develop self cultivation and overcome their lack of creative thinking of tactics like humans, which at the same time made the Mental Models develop their own unique personality.

Boruto The Naruto Movie

Description: Boruto is the eleventh Naruto film and was first announced at the ending of The Last: Naruto the Movie. The movie is set to be released in Japanese theatres on August 7, 2015, and in other countries with English subtitles, later in 2015, with the USA on October 10. Masashi Kishimoto is conceiving the story about the next generation, tying into the Naruto Project.

Sypnosis: With Naruto Uzumaki as the Seventh Hokage, Konohagakure plans to host the Chūnin Exams to train new shinobi from all of the five allied villages. Among the entrants are Team Konohamaru: Sasuke Uchiha's daughter, Sarada Uchiha, who adores Naruto; Mitsuki, an exceptionally talented yet mysterious shinobi; and Boruto Uzumaki, Naruto's son who shows great potential but despises and resents his father for not having the time to spend with his family because of his work.

Meanwhile, Sasuke, who has been on a mission in another dimension, appears before Naruto to warn of a strange impending danger he has sensed. Naruto and Sasuke talk about shinobi of their mutual childhood's era. As they do, Boruto hears from Sarada that Sasuke is Naruto's "one and only rival". Wanting to discover his father's weak spot and surpass him, Boruto meets Sasuke and begs him to train him and take him on as an apprentice. Sasuke, who realises his friend's situation, promises to be Boruto's teacher "on one condition". Boruto decides to apply for the Chūnin Selection Exams alongside Sarada and Mitsuki to show his real abilities to Naruto.

Attack on Titan

Description: Attack on Titan is a 2015 Japanese dark fantasy action film based on the manga series of the same name by Hajime Isayama. The film will be split into two parts, with the first part released in Japan on August 1, 2015 and the second part, titled Attack on Titan: End of the World, immediately to follow on September 19, 2015. The film was directed by Shinji Higuchi, written by Yūsuke Watanabe and Tomohiro Machiyama and stars Haruma Miura, Kiko Mizuhara and Kanata Hongō.

Plot: The story of Attack on Titan centers around the adventures of Eren Yeager, his foster sister, Mikasa Ackerman, and their childhood friend, Armin Arlert. After the wall which protects their hometown of Shinganshina is breached by Titans, Eren watches in horror as one of them eats his mother. Vowing to kill all the Titans, Eren enlists in the military, along with his friends.

Five years later, the three cadet graduates are positioned in Trost District, one of the border towns jutting out of Wall Rose, when the Titans attack again. In the ensuing battle, Eren is eaten by one of the Titans before Armin's eyes. A Titan later appears and begins fighting the other Titans while ignoring humans; the Titan is revealed to be Eren, who has developed the ability to transform into one. Though he is seen as a threat by some, he helps the military take back Trost District. After being placed on trial for being a danger to the humans, he is taken in by the Survey Corps' Special Operations Squad, led by Captain Levi.

Attack on Titan Smoke Signal of Fight Back

Synopsis: Spin off of Attack on Titan where Hanji is the main character. The last remnants of humanity were forced to retreat behind the towering walls of a fortified city to escape the massive, man-eating Titans that roamed the land outside their fortress. But one day, the walls were breached. 10 months after the attack of the Titans, troops assembled to fight the Titans have been training daily. The people earnestly wish for the walls which were destroyed by the Titans to be repaired.

In order to do this, the government has been covering the research expenses for the development of weapons against the Titans with precious tax money. Hange, the weapons leader, spends her time on independent Titan research for the purpose of finding the vulnerabilities of the Titans, which are many times bigger than humans. Many of the troops have lost their homes and families because of the emergence of the Titans. They vow to have a heroic counterattack on the Titans.

Episode 1: Start of the Counterattack, Soldiers are engaged in training and developing weapons for the fight against the Titans. One day, Izuru is sent from the Public Security Command Bureau and meets Hange who has been researching the ecosystem of the Titans. She is secretly advancing studies on the Titans in her own research lab. Developing an interest in Hange, Izuru infiltrates the lab and learns that a Titan which was successfully captured, is sequestered in there.

Episode 2: Bow and Arrow of Hope Sasha, who is good with bow and arrows had been hunting and living with her people, but is forced from her village because of the Titans’ attack. As a result of the attack, she becomes a new personnel and diligently trains every day. One night, an incident happens with the discovery of a suspicious-looking youth.

Episode 3: Journey to Freedom Fukushi and Lil are particularly outstanding among the new personnel. Lil’s parents were eaten by the Titans and she has been training every day so that she will be the strongest, in preparation for the inevitable fight against the Titans. Fukushi is attracted to Lil and secretly likes her. One day, the two of them who each have feelings, mingle and a bruising battle starts to develop.
